Switch Morphin Red Samurai Ranger

Happy New Years Eve!

As I was saying yesterday, I bought my very first Power Rangers Samurai toy two days ago! It's the Red Switch Morphin Ranger! Check it out:

I was debating on whether to get three of the 4 inch Mega Rangers first, this figure, or the Blue Switch Morphin Ranger. I will be getting all 5 of the 4 inch Mega Rangers very soon, possibly today. And I also plan I getting the Samurai Megazord and the other two Switch Morphin Rangers. I'm not sure if I am going to get the Regular Ranger Set (all 4 inch Rangers in their original costumes in one set). I might get that if I have extra money saved up.

This figure that I got was about $10 and is pretty damn god for the price. It stands about 6.5 inches tall and it comes with a Samurai sword (which is about 4 inches long) and two hostlers for the belt on each side. The head can be flipped from it's "Ninja mask" civilian form to the Ranger helmet and back again with just a click of the button that is on his back. Before opening the box, you can try it out where it says "TRY ME" on the back to see it's head flip. I did this before buying it to make sure it works properly.

There's not much articulation because of the head-flipping ability that it's meant to be made for. The paint and detail jobs on it are well done, especially the design of the sword. The paint on the figure itself is spot on. I don't talk about the paint, detail, or articulation of the toys I get, so if you wanna know any of that stuff, just go buy the toy and find out for yourself. XD

But take my word for it; this figure is a beast, so get it. Sure, the look on the Ranger isn't the same as the TV show, but give it a try. It doesn't look bad at all.

Tomorrow is officially the first day of 2011!

Old Videos Deleted, New Videos Uploaded

I had to delete more videos from my YouTube Account. In order to keep my channel, I have to keep deleting all the videos that have Content ID Matches. I've had a lot of videos with Content ID Matches and I've had a lot of warnings from YouTube. So I had to delete about 10 videos from my account. Some of my videos I had to use Audio Swap because of the audio I used. As of now, my channel is still alive and going. I just have to be careful of the audio and video that I use. The only song I am able to use for my videos as of now is the instrumental version of Morning Musume's "Shouganai Yume Oibito". It's a good song, but it gets too repetitive when I use the same song for all my videos. Most of my recent videos have this song. I will find another song that I can use to give some diversity to each video, like I used to back in the good ole' days.

But I also uploaded new videos in the past few days. Two of the videos are of the new Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger that are appearing in February 2011. The promotional stuff for this season isn't going to end for a LONG time:

Then my third video is of the stuff I bought at Power Morphicon 2! Originally, I was going to have 2 parts to this video. I uploaded Part 1 that featured the Zeo Deluxe Red Batllezord earlier this week, but it was one of the videos I had to delete today. So this video is basically Parts 1 and 2 combined:

And I got my very first Power Rangers Samurai toy yesterday! :D I will have a video of it tomorrow! Here is my VIDEOS IN THE WORKS list:

Coming December 31, 2010:
1. PR Samurai Switch Morphin Fire Ranger
Coming Early 2011:
1. Power Morphicon 2010 Compilation
2. My Power Rangers/Super Sentai Collection 24
3. My PR/SS Collection Update (Jan. 1)

Morning Musume: Fantasy! Juuichi

First off, here's my updated VIDEO IN THE WORKS list:

Coming at the end of this year 2010:
1. Stuff I Bought At Power Morphicon 2010 Part 2
2. PR Samurai Switch Morphin Fire Ranger
3. More Gokaiger Pictures & Info
Coming Early 2011:
1. Power Morphicon 2010 Compilation
2. MM Onna to Otoko no Lullaby Game PV
3. Muten Musume Appare Kaiten Zushi! PV
4. My Power Rangers/Super Sentai Collection 24

Now, with that out of the way, I will now begin my review on each of the songs off Morning Musume's 11th album "Fantasy! Juuichi" which was released December 1. This is the last album for MM members Kamei Eri, Junjun, & Linlin.

1. Onna to Otoko no Lullaby Game (AL Ver.): This song is the group's 44th single. It's a different version from the single version. I like the added intro a lot. And I like how they have longer pauses in the verses when leader Takahashi Ai sings. The guitar in the bridge is a very nice touch and it gives the song more of a rock feeling. I like this album version better than the single version, although they are both basically the same song (just with added parts).

2. Bravo!: This song has more of a rock feeling to it. It's a really nice song and I believe Takahashi Ai is the only one who gets a solo. And it's really short, so the whole song is basically everyone singing. It's a happy song and a good song to be on this particular album.

3. Fantasy ga Hajimaru: On this album, Tsunku (producer) decided to go a little more techno. And this song is one of the songs that he uses techno in. This song is very cool with 6th Generation Member Michishige Saymui taking the lead. I love Takahashi Ai's falsetto at the end.

4. Onna Gokoro to Nanto Yara: Another happy song that is also more on the rock side. I love how the snare drum doesn't come in until the chorus, while during the verses it's only a clap machine to control the rhythm of the song. This song is lead by Sub-Leader Niigaki Risa and it's a perfect song for her to lead.

5. Ai no Honoo: There are onlt two songs in this album that are solos. This is the first one and it's sung by only 6th Generation Member Tanaka Reina. The only two solo songs are sung by the two front-woman of the group. It's a really nice song and Reina's voice is soothing to listen to. It's not my favorite song on the album, but it's nice on the ears.

6. I'm Lucky girl: This song is both rock and techno, but more on the techno side with the two front-women Reina and Ai leading. It's a very catchy song and it should be a really good song for them to perform live because fans can be able to repeat what is being sung in the verses. The chorus is really awesome and cool.

7. Sungoi My Birthday: This is the cute song on the album. I call it a "J-Pop Lullaby". It's lead by the 8th Generation Members Mitsui Aika, Junjun, and Linlin. This is one of my favorites on the album and I'm glad Tsunku didn't have these girls sing weird goofy songs like in past albums. In this song, the instruments are very light on the ears, so you are able to hear their voices much more clearly, especially the 8th Gen. Members. I'm happy they have a song like this, especially since this album is the last one for two of the 8th Gen. Members.

8. 1 Kara 10 Made Aishite Hoshii: A very happy song, this song reminds me of a few of their past B-Sides they've done while they were a 9-nin group (songs like "Sono Bamen de Bibiccha Ikenai jan!" and "Bomb Kyu! Bomb Kyu! Bomb Girl"). There are a lot of trumpets in this song, reminding me of this group back in 2007-2008 (although I didn't find out about them until 2009 :P). It's a good catchy song.

9. Itoshiku Kurushii Kono Yoru ni: This is another soothing song and it's fronted by the graduate member Kamei Eri. I'm glad she got to lead a song like this one to show off her voice. She wasn't always the best singer of the group, but she had a chance to shine in this song. This song has a cultural Japanese influence in it, but at the same time, there are synthesizers being used, giving it it's modernity and pop vibe.

10. Denwa de ne: This is the second solo on this album and it is sung by leader Takahashi Ai. This is another soothing song and has an R&B feel to it. It's my favorite of the two solos and in my opinion, Ai's voice is even more soothing to listen to than Reina's. This song has quite a few vox tracks on it to make lyrics overlap, which will be difficult to sing live, especially when it's a solo, but I'm sure Ai will sing all the main parts. This is also another one of my favorite songs on the album.

11. Seishun Collection: This is the group's 43rd single. A happy song with very few solos but overall, it is a good song with a catchy tune. The melody is great and it's nice to hear all the members sing at once, similar to "Bravo!". A lot of the group's recent singles have the same format, but they all end up having their own uniqueness and this song is a uniquely happy ending song.

So if you haven't already, buy Morning Musume's "Fantasy! Juuichi" album. It's an amazing album, and I would say that this album is better than 10 MY ME. That's how good it is.

Pirates On Christmas Day

So this is the first time ever I've done this before: I am posting 2 blog posts within the same day! :O IS THIS LEGAL???!!! Xp And it just so happens that I'm doing this on Christmas Day, the best of the year. Hmm... maybe I'll make this a tradition....

So I got a lot of cool things this year. I didn't really want anything this year (except a car haha) but I ended up getting awesome presents. I got a new Power Rangers shirt (Thanks Tomas! XD), the Rise Against Live DVD (Thanks Christian! :D), some other new clothes, iTunes gift cards, a new book to read, a box of cookies (Yum :P) and money (you can never go wrong with money). This Christmas has been good so far and it's not over. I've been buying new music and later on my family and I are gonna go see some lights at umm... I forget where... but it's gonna be awesome. Haha.

So the first promo for "Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger" has just been released! Here it is:

This is pretty awesome! I wasn't really expecting to see this today, but my anticipation is rising for this season (even though I've barely watched Goseiger :P). The cast list of who are playing the Gokaiger has been released as well. I will be doing a video of it along with new Gokaiger pictures. For now, here are some cool pictures to feed your eyes with:

And last but not least (again :P), here is my VIDEOS IN THE WORKS list on my YouTube Channel:

Coming later this year 2010:
1. Power Morphicon 2010 Compilation
2. MM Onna to Otoko no Lullaby Game PV
3. Muten Musume Appare Kaiten Zushi! PV
4. Stuff I Bought At Power Morphicon 2010 Part 2
5. Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger Pictures & Cast
Coming 2011:
1. My Power Rangers/Super Sentai Collection 24

I hope everyone is enjoying their Christmas! :D

Merry Christmas 2010!

Merry Christmas everyone! :D There's quite a few things I wanna blog about today.

So remember last post that I was gonna upload a video of the new Power Rangers Samurai toys? Well, here it is:

And new pics of the new Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger not only in the TV show, but the upcoming Tensou Sentai Goseiger vs. Shinkenger Movie and the Dice-O Video Game series have been released. Gokaiger loves to invade a lot of things, don't they? Here are a few pics:

I also finally bought Morning Musume's latest album "Fantasy! Juuichi"! It's so good! I'm listening to it right now! To be honest, I think it's better than 10 MY ME and 10 MY ME is really good! I'll be doing a review of all the songs on the album in another post another time.

Details of the Morning Musume 9th Generation Finalists have been released! All 5 of the finalists seem like they have very good talent, except for one of them. For details, pictures, and videos of the finalists, click HERE!!!!!

And last but not least (definitely not least), Morning Musume 8th Generation member Mitsui Aika will be releasing her very first photobook called "Aika". The cover has been released, and well, at first, before this cover was release, I didn't think she was THAT good-looking, but then this cover came out, and well, my mind has kinda changed about that. Judge for yourself:

It's okay... you're not alone... I'm surprised she can look that good too... O.O

Anyway, Merry Christmas to everyone again! I hope you all get EPIC presents! :D

Samurai On Christmas Eve

Merry Christmas Eve! Our drummer, Christian, just stopped by at my house a few minutes ago and gave me a present. I wonder what it is... haha Thanks Christian! :D

I posted a new video yesterday that I've been wanting to work on and upload forever! Actually since Power Morphicon 2010 ended. xP Check it out:

The things that I am about to post are indeed about Power Rangers Samurai. I would've posted this stuff in my last post, but I didn't find out about all this until hours after I typed that post. Haha sorry guys. :P

First of all, I haven't been doing my PRS homework, cuz the new Power Rangers Samurai Toys are now out in stores even though Bandai America said they were gonna be released in January! I know what I want for Christmas now! XD Here are some pics of the new toys:

And yes, I will be doing a video with these pictures. And yes, once I get these figures, I will be doing videos on them too.

I think from these pictures, these toys look pretty decent. I'll see for myself once I get my hands on them.

And also, Nick.com released a sneak peek episode clip from the first episode of Power Rangers Samurai. Watch it now:

I am getting PUMPED for Power Rangers Samurai! :D

Breathless

I hate when this happens.... -___-

So for a while now, my dad and I have been trying to find a car for me. It's been a year since I've had my license and I still don't have a car of my own. I usually drive around my dad's car or my mom's car. But my parents usually need their cars because of work. So most of the time, I don't have a car available for me. So for a few months now, my dad and I have been car shopping. We would always find a car perfect for me, but my dad always wants to wait and think about before buying it. But the consequence for waiting to buy a really good car that runs wells at a very good price is that someone else will buy it...

This has happened to me about 5 times in the past month. -___-

Yesterday my dad and I went to a car dealership and we found a nice 2002 Pontiac Boneville. It has a nice dark blue color to it and it was very roomy inside. The interior and exterior designs of the car were nice and the car overall was very well-maintained. It drove very nicely and the engine was very powerful. It had low mileage (about 100,000) and was selling for the really great price of about $4000. It was the perfect car for me. My dad thought the same. But he just HAD to wanna think about buying it for a while and go back to the dealership next week to check out the bottom of the car and THEN make up his mind...

My dad just called me a few minutes ago. 3 hours after we left the dealership, that same car got sold. -___-

This isn't the first time this has happened. And I have a very bad feeling that this won't be our last time either. I appreciate my dad trying his best to buy me a car, but can we PLEASE buy the next great car at a great price that drives very well that we see??? PLEASE???!!!

Ugh....

Anyway, after looking at the car that will never be mine, I went to my GF's house to give her Part 1 of my Christmas Present to her. I gave her a giant Teddy Bear. And I'm happy she likes it (she better; it took me a whole freakin weekend to find that thing xP). I gave it to her yesterday because she and her family are going to LA again for Christmas. I'll give her Part 2 when she comes back and when it's ready.

Remember that the action figures of Power Rangers Samurai don't look like the actual Rangers on TV? Well, here they are:

Personally, I don't think they look that bad. There are some rumors that these forms of the Rangers will be appearing in the TV show as a new "battlized form" for the Rangers. It is unsure if that is true or false, but either way, I think PRS will be a bad ass season of Power Rangers. Are these forms of the Samurai Rangers horrible? Well, you decide.

I wonder how the Gold Ranger will look like... 0.o

NR4LIFE

I got my High School Senior Ring just a few hours ago in the mail. I'm shocked. It was supposed to take 6-8 weeks to get here, but it only took like 2-3 weeks. :D This ring's pretty sexy. :P The jewel on it is an Alexandrite, which is my birth stone (June). June's birth stone can also be pearl, but this stone is way cooler. It appears to change color depending on the lighting in the room. It can look black, blue, or purple as far as I've seen.

On one side of the ring, it has my graduation year (2011) and an academic scholar symbol. It was the only logo I could get for the ring, since I only got the basic options plus style. It's a nice symbol regardless. And on the other side, it has my school's symbol which is a mustang's head and the letters "OR" below it. Above the logo, instead of putting my name, I put "NR4LIFE" meaning "Nightmare's Riot For Life" (in a spiritual sense of course :P). Inside the ring, I have my initials "AJM". I was thinking about putting "NR" instead, but the "NR4LIFE" is good enough I think.

Around the jewel says "Otay Ranch High". This ring is made out of White Lustrium, which is the cheapest metal there is. xP But this ring was still pretty expensive ($110 to be exact). But it's really nice and I like it.

It's kinda loose on me though, but I might go to the jeweler tomorrow to get it to fit. Other than that I'm content with my new ring. Actually, it's the only ring I've ever owned so far.

BTW, I had a fantastic day with my GF. <3 Haha. I'm finally gonna give that present to her tomorrow cuz she's leaving to LA for a few days. And no, it's not the ring! That shit's mine. XP

Wal-Mart Has Everything

I HATE OUR FREAKIN' GUITARIST RIGHT NOW! First he says he's not grounded. Than he says he's not. MAKE UP YOUR FUCKIN' MIND! D:<

*Sigh*

Anyway, first off, I wanna say that after another month of not uploading any videos to my YouTube Channel, I finally uploaded one yesterday! It features the new Super Sentai team of 2011-2012, Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger. I also included pictures of the new Sentai team-up movie: Tensou Sentai Goseiger VS Shinkenger (which Gokaiger will invade). Watch my video here:

And another Power Rangers Samurai sneak preview has been released! It has a new Mighty Morphin Power Rangers theme song to go along with it and I'm wondering if it's the new theme song for the season. Hmm... Check it out:

Okay, I've been thinking for a long time about what to get my GF for Christmas this year. I finally figured out what to get her about just last week and I've been meaning to find it.

Yesterday, my mom let me borrow her car and I went to Plaza Bonita to go to the Target there to look for what I was trying to find, cuz that's where I saw it last. But it was too damn crowded and I couldn't find a single parking space to park in. So I was like, "Fuck this. I'm going to my GF's house." And I did. :)

Today, my family and I went out to eat lunch at Mission Valley Mall. They have a Target there also, so I went to check it out. What I was trying to find was not there. -__-

So later on, my dad let me borrow his car to look for that present for my GF. First I went to Plaza Bonita again thinking that it wouldn't be that crowded and I would be able to find parking this time. Boy, was I wrong...

So then I went to another Target miles away. It wasn't there either...

Then I went to the Borders near that Target, since there was a sale, and I thought there might be something similar there that I've been trying to look for. I was wrong again...

Then just when I was about to give up, I finally went to Wal-Mart. Why I didn't go there earlier is BEYOND me. And I finally found what I wanted to give my GF there.

It took me two hours to find that thing... TWO HOURS!

But I'm glad I finally found it. I hope she likes it. >.<

So what is it exactly? Well, I'll tell you later. She might read this stuff. XD

And I learned a very valuable lesson this weekend: Wal-Mart has everything.

With Every Ending Comes A New Beginning

WARNING: I will cuss a lot in this post out of joy. XD

Today was the last day of the first semester of my senior year of high school. Holy shit.

This semester was fun. I enjoyed most of my classes (emphasis on MOST xP). I didn't too well on finals though... I got an F on my math final, a D on my chemistry honors final, and a D on my AP Lit final. Ah well, my parents don't need to know. :P

Although I did bad on finals, I got pretty good grades for being a lazy procrastinating senior in high school. I got 1 C, 2 B's, and 2 A's. And thats unweighted (without counting the extra point for AP and honors classes)! Weighted, I got 1 C and 4 A's. HA! Pretty fuckin' good for someone who slacks off senior year. XD I'm very content with my grades.

Today was a good day. IDK why, but I'm really happy and hyper today! XD I had to jump around and scream to loud post-hardcore music to calm myself down. But I'm still pretty jittery. X] Before going to her 6th period, I told my GF I love her. :) Just had to throw that in there.

Now begins the 3 week winter break! Hellz yah! And Christmas and New Years is coming up and it's gonna be like OH FUCK YAH! XD And then it's gonna be the last semester of high school... Holy fuckin shit....

Anyway, two days ago, Morning Musume 6th generation member Kamei Eri and 8th generation members Jun Jun and Lin Lin officially graduated from Morning Musume and Hello! Project. I'm sad, but I wish all three of them good luck in their respective future careers. Here are a few pics from the graduation concert:

But with every ending comes a new beginning, and with the graduation of three very talented memebers of Morning Musume, 9th generation members will be added to the group very soon!

The Summit

Alright, I just needed a few days to clear up some things.

Anyway, so this is our last week of school before our 3 week winter break from school! :D I'm so pumped up for Christmas! And I'm pumped up to hopefully see my GF outside of school. <3

Most of this week is taking finals. We're done with most of our finals. Most people have 2 more finals tomorrow. I only have one! :D But it's AP Literature... and I have to write 3 essays in 2 hours... crazy bastards. xP

During 6th period, while all the underclassmen take their final exams, me and my friends will be going to iHop to celebrate a friend's 18th birthday! Holy shiz! He's a legal adult! xD

In the world of Morning Musume, graduating members Kamei Eri, Junjun, and Linlin, are graduating tomorrow. D: I'm gonna miss them all. On my CrunchyRoll page, I have new pics of the graduating members. Check them out HERE!

And also, Mitsui Aika (8th Generation member of MM) will be having her very first photobook! I was surprised to hear this! And it's awesome to hear it! Click here to find out more about it!

AND MM is also having an iPhone game featuring the members! Click here to find out more about that!

Internal Conflicts

Don't we all have them sometimes? There are different kinds of internal conflicts. There are the simple ones that happen almost everyday for everyone: what to eat for lunch, what to wear to work, whether to do your homework or not, etc. Then there are those not-so-simple internal conflicts that are just a b*tch to even think about.

Well, I wish my internal conflict was the simple kind....

So it started Sunday when I told my band mates that we have to talk about what we're (Nightmare's Riot) gonna do next year, since Christian (drummer) is gonna go off to collage in northern California, Tomas (guitarist) is has one more year in high school, and I (bass, vocals) am going to collage here.

Now that I started typing this, I don't think I should continue with this...

I might let you guys know later...

I have a lot on my mind right now...

And I'm currently talking to my band mates to make it all better.

Poisoned By Party Poison

I came back home from LA yesterday. :D Me, my gf, my bro, and a few other people from my high school's Cross Country team went up to Los Angeles to race at Footlocker Regionals at Mt. San Antonio Collage (Mt. SAC). We left Friday during school and came back yesterday. It was a lot of fun. I did really well in the race for someone who didn't try extremely hard. :P

After coming back from the race, we went to a friend's b-day party. It was totally awesome... Heheh...

Anyway, I went to go get a hair trim this morning because our Cross Country banquet is tomorrow night. I just HAD to get the new lady who works there and she just HAD to cur it shorter than I wanted her to... -____- Ah well, it doesn't look TOO bad...

I'm also obsessed with MCR's new song "Party Poison" from their new Danger Days album. But here's a different song that they're playing live that won't get blocked by the rights of whoever it may be:

I should be doing homework right now, but then I saw that one of my band mates finally put up raw footage of our band from filming at the TV studio for YOURSELF PRESENTS TV Show. This is only one song out of about 8 songs we recorded:

Again, this is only raw footage, so the actual footage will appear on TV sometime mid-2011.

Okay, I'm gonna do homework now.

Pirate Rangers

Yah. That's right. Pirate Rangers b*tch. XD

The new Super Sentai team of 2011-2012 has been revealed: Kaizoku Sentai Goukaiger. They are a pirate themed Sentai and I think they're pretty damn cool-looking!

Pictures of Goseiger vs. Shinkenger The Movie have been released:

Morning Musume's 11th album "Fantasy! Juuichi" is now available! I haven't bought it yet. I'm gonna wait until Christmas when I get an iTunes gift card so I can buy that and their latest single. I listened to the previews of each song on iTunes and all of them sound really awesome! I can't wait to listen to the whole album!

And graduating MM member Kamei Eri (one of my favs) will be having one more photobook before her graduation. It is called "Thanks" and the cover has been released:

Defend Your Art

Today is the last day of November which means I finally get to shave! Not shaving is annoying. My mustache would touch my upper lip when I take a shower or any other time when my face would be wet and it's annoying. I'm glad it's the end of the month. But it was for a good cause and I'm glad I did it. I'll do it again next year but I'm gonna clean it up, unlike this year when I just let it grow out and not even touch it with a razor.

Today was also the second day back to school from our week long Thanksgiving break. Honestly, I could've taken another week off. :P It actually would've been nice to have. But at least we have 3 weeks more until Winter break! :D

More radio previews of more songs from Morning Musume's 11th album have been released:

Onna Gokoro to Nanto Yara

Bravo!

Both of these songs sound really good. Morning Musume's 11th album will be released tomorrow! Be sure to buy it!

Danger Days

I hope everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving Day yesterday! I did. :D I ate a lot. :P

I watched the amazing 20 seconds that the Power Rangers Samurai were on in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. :P If you didn't see it, here it is:

Yah. All they did was pose a bit and stand around. Or at least that's what was on TV:

I admit, the world balloon thing looks pretty epic, but how come they didn't show the Rangers doing fighting moves on TV??? Damn you NBC! Ah well, at least they were on TV and a part of something big like this. More pictures and videos of the Power Rangers Samurai at the parade are on the Official Power Rangers Facebook.

Today was Black Friday and shopping stores and malls everywhere were crowded. My mom didn't wanna go anywhere cuz of the crowds, so I went myself! XD It was pretty fun and I went to my local mall to pick up My Chemical Romance's new album Danger Days: The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys.

The album is really epic! The first 10 tracks are awesome with MCR going back to their roots, but at the same time, trying some poppy and jumpy sounds. I especially like "Planetary (GO!)", "Party Poison", and "Save Yourself, I'll Hold Them Back". I especially like how they added Japanese in "Party Poison". After that, the album gets really slow and the songs are really weird, nothing that MCR would really do. 0.o Then it goes to "Destroya", which is an interesting, yet repetitive, song and again, something MCR wouldn't really write, in my opinion. After that, it gets slow again with the 5 minute track "The Kids From Yesterday". The last song "Vampire Money" is a fun and epic way to end the album with the lead singer introducing his band mates in the beginning of the song.

I really like this album. If you wanna hear some awesome alternative/punk rock music, pick up MCR's "Danger Days: The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys". To listen to the whole album (with some commentary from Dr. Death Defying) watch this:

Thankful Fantasy

Happy Thanksgiving Day everyone! This year, I am very thankful for a lot of things. My family, friends, all the luxuries I have that other people aren't able to have, and of course my girlfriend.

Right now as I am typing the post, I am watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and waiting for the Power Rangers Samurai make their debut to the world!

Photos of the Red and Pink Rangers in New York are on the Official Power Rangers Facebook:

Radio Previews for some of the tracks off of Morning Musume's 11th upcoming new album have been released:

Itoshiku Kurushii Kono Yoru ni

Fantasy ga Hajimaru

1 Kara 10 Made Aishite Hoshii

All of these tracks sound great and I can't wait for the new album to come out! :D

So to everyone once again, have a great Turkey Day! And don't forget to watch the Power Rangers Samurai on NBC and Nickelodeon today!

The House That Doubt Built

FINALLY!!! My stupid computer broke down and we had to take it in for repair again. It's been out for a few days, but now it's back! And thank goodness for that, because we're on our Thanksgiving break from school. We have a whole week off! :D

So last Friday, my band Nightmare's Riot played at our high school's talent show "OGT". Although we didn't win, we still had a lot of fun playing! I really felt like we gave that performance our all and the crowd really showed that to us. The crowd got really into it and I really thank every single person who participated in our performance:

This is the last time this year Nightmare's Riot will be having a performance. We will be back next year. :D So we were told to be at the school pavilion at around 4. So we got there at about 4:15 (of course our guitarist being the last one there :P) and we waited in a room for 3 FREAKIN HOURS UNTIL WE PLAYED! It was boring! From what we heard, the other acts were very good.

Then we played and I had so fun playing. We knew that this was going to be our last show of the year, so we had to give it our all. After playing, we were judged by supposedly-famous people in the fine arts industry...

Those judges can suck it. XD

They had no idea what they were talking about. And it wasn't just to us; they found something bad to say about every act, no matter how good the act was. Honestly, there is no point in having those judges. I think they were just there to BS the "constructive criticism" that they gave us and that we won't even consider. xP

After that, there were a few more acts. Then the final judging commenced and they handed out trophies to the top 3 acts (in the judges opinion -__-). I'm not saying that we should've won, because I don't. I honestly think the those other acts that won deserved it and they are all very talented. But I do think that the judges should have an appreciation for all types of music if they're gonna be judges for any music-related competition.

Well regardless, thank you to all who came to watch us play. Your participation means a lot to us. :D

Now on another note, tomorrow's Thanksgiving! :D I'm gonna die from eating too much good food! XD JK. But seriously, I love Thanksgiving. It's the next best day to get together with your family (the first being Christmas, of course). This year were spending the day at our Grandparent's house cuz they do most of the cookin, including the turkey. Yum. :P

And I'm also gonna be watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on TV. Why? Cuz the Power Rangers Samurai will be appearing! :D Yay! And afterward on Nickelodeon, the very first sneak preview of the new Power Rangers season will be on the air! More yay! :D

And the sneak preview has been leaked! If you do not want to be spoiled, don't watch it. Otherwise, WATCH IT NOW:

I'm so excited! :D

So to everyone, have a fantastic Thanksgiving Day!

OGT

So my high school is having a talent show today and my band Nightmare's Riot is in it! :D

I believe it was last month when we auditioned for this talent show. And our audition went horrible. Somehow, we made it, and we decided that we wanted to play a brand new song called "Ego Diligo Vos", which was the first song we played at our "Exclusive Show" at Bonita Library.

Yesterday, we had rehearsals for the talent show. It was supposed to run from 3-6, but it ended up being from 3:30-7:00. We found out that we are the first act after intermission. :D The rehearsals went much better than the auditions. We went through the song twice because the first time around the bass and vocals weren't loud enough. Go figure.... xP And the competition is really tough. There are really good performances by a lot of other talented people at our school.

So please, if you go to Otay Ranch High School, or if you just wanna listen to some to some good music and see some really cool performances, come to Otay Ranch High School today at the Pavilion! Doors open at 6pm and it costs $8 each person. It starts at 6:30 and ends at 8:30. Please come out and support us! If not, at least wish us luck... we need it. xP

Power Rangers Samurai Toy Line

Today is an amazing day. A day that will go down in history. A day that will be remembered always. Why? Because today is the day I finally uploaded a video on YouTube after over a month of not doing so...

And you thought that was important! XP

Well, it is to me. As some of you Power Rangers fans know, Power Rangers Samurai will be the new season of Power Rangers. It will air on Nickelodeon staring early 2011. A few days ago, it was announced that the season will consist of 43 episodes instead of just 40. Before that, it was released that the season will run for 2 years.

On October 30th, it was announced that during the Nicktoons Thanksgiving All Heroes Weekend, three Power Rangers Samurai Previews will be shown on Nicktoons. These previews are only expected to be a few minutes or less in length. But they will possibly be our first look into fresh footage of the cast and original footage of the new PR season.

On November 8th, it was released that the new Power Rangers Samurai will be making a debut in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. A press release states that the first sneak peak of Power Rangers Samurai will air on Nickelodeon right after the parade.

This now brings me to my newest video! Recently, Bandai America has released photos of the new Power Rangers Samurai toys. The toys will be released in store late 2010 or early 2011. To see these photos, here is my video:

Okay, so the toys, especially the action figures, do not look the same as the Rangers on TV. Why Bandai has decided to change the look on the toys from the TV show? Idk. They don't look bad. I think they look pretty cool. But I do wish they had figures that actually looked like the Rangers in the show.

The zords don't really impress me that much. Nor do the weapons and morphers. It's kinda disappointed. But then again, it's Bandai America. Not Bandai Japan.

Then I also uploaded another video. It's just an update video on my collection, my YouTube Channel, and this blog:

And to finish up this post, here's my VIDEOS IN THE WORKS list:

Coming later this year 2010:
1. Power Morphicon 2010 Compilation
2. 1996 Deluxe Zeo Red Battlezord
3. Gekiranger GekiChopper Vinyl Figure
4. MMPR German Talking Red Ranger
5. MM Onna to Otoko no Lullaby Game PV
6. YouTube Icon #19

Coming 2011:

And lastly, the Graduation of Kamei Eri, Junjun, and Linlin will be broadcasted in 3D live on TV. The concert will be re-broadcasted in January in 2D. 0.o Hmm... I find this very interesting. Personally, I'm not a big fan of 3D, but I don't mind it either. Eh whatever, I'm gonna watch it on YouTube whenever someone puts it up. xP

We have only about a month until the graduation. I hope the three members enjoy they're last month in the group. >.<

All I Want...

...is a car. xD

No, but really. I do want a car. Actually, I need it. And my parents know it. But it's taking them so long to find one for me! I know it would make my life much more expensive because of gas, insurance, etc. but it would make my life so much easier! It would make my family's lives easier! I don't care what kind. I don't care if it's nice. I don't care if it's a brand new car or an old piece of crap car. As long as it works, I'm fine. I just want/need one now!!! OMG!!!

Anyway...

Since Cross Country practice is over, I get to either go home early or hang out with my friends at wherever we feel like it. Today, I hitched a ride with one of my friends to go home early (do u now see why I need a car?). So now I'm home just relaxing, listening to music, and talking to my GF on my band's facebook (which BTW add us :P).

Umm what else... well Morning Musume's new album covers have been released. They're wearing the same dresses that they wear in their latest single:

The top one is the regular edition. And the bottom one is the limited edition.

Hmm... what else... umm... yah idk... xP

I'll Be Sonic

Last night was our high school's Homecoming Dance. Although it is my Senior Year, I didn't go. I have a few reasons for this:

1. Saving up money for Prom, Senior Ring, and other Senior expenses
2. Not a lot of my other friends were going
3. No BMOC
4. GF claimed she didn't wanna go

So we had other plans. >.<

Me, my GF, and a few other of our friends from the XC team went to Plaza Bonita (our local mall) to hang out what not. After that I went to her house to hang out some more. I didn't realize that yesterday was the 13th, which meant that it was our 3 month anniversary. I love you. <<<333

On another note, one of my fav bands A Day To Remember is going to release their new album "What Separates Me From You" this Tuesday! But their new album has been leaked throughout the internet! Here's one of my fav songs on their new album:

Hmm... I wonder what I'm gonna do today... xP

Cross Country Experience

So yesterday was the day of the finals for the 2010 Cross Country season. And this was my last year of high school country. I'm gonna miss this sport a lot.

Although I didn't break my PR (personal record) yesterday, I think I did the best that I could. My PR was 18:44 and I got 18:46 yesterday. I could've gone out a little slower, but it is what it is. It was an amazing season and an awesome experience. After the races, the awards ceremony took place and the top 10 runners from each divisions got medals (I was #18 in my division. which I think is great for me :D). Then after the awards, we went to La Bella's Pizza Place and had delicious pizza! Yum. :P

I love Cross Country to death. It's my favorite sport by far. I wish I joined as a freshman....

I joined Cross Country as a sophomore. The only reason why I joined XC is cuz my dad was forcing me to join a sport in high school. And I liked running and I knew a few people in XC and who were joining it, so I joined the sport that football and lacrosse players don't consider a "sport". Anyone who thinks that is stupid. I wanna see them try to run 3 miles at their very hardest non-stop. >.<

I wasn't really serious about the sport. Originally, I didn't plan on lettering varsity. Nor did I expect to meet a lot of interesting people or make a lot of new friends. I just planned on running. I didn't think I was going to have so much fun with this sport.

Being on the team has made me be a little more responsible, dedicated, and loyal. My first year of XC was fun. It's where I started out as a slow newbie, then slowly worked my way up. I learned a lot of things and became familiar more and more every day I had practice. I became really good friends with a few of the guys. It's also the year when I decided to also do Track & Field. But I do love XC much more.

My second year was great too. I was more familiar with everyone and new people came into the team. I was now a veteran of the team and I had a tiny bit of authority. xP It's the year I finally broke 20 minutes for 3 miles. :D It's also the year I found the girl of my dreams. <3

My third and final year was amazing. The best year by far. Although it didn't really end off in the way I expected too, it was an amazing year and I don't regret anything. It's the year I came out of an injury and still ran very well. It's the year I was able to have authority over the JV team. It's the year my band mates joined the tam. It's year I lettered varsity. And it's the year I won a race. I don't think it can get any better than that. :D

I will always love this sport. But I have decided that I will not be running in collage. But I know that I have a few more races to come. My next will be the Footlocker race, which anybody can run, which is in December. And then next in June or July, I will be racing at XC camp as a counselor (if I decide to go, which I hope I will). And I will continue running on my own or with friends just for fun and to stay in shape. I won't be doing a whole lot, but I will run as much as I can.

Cross Country is a sport. It's my favorite sport. And nobody will change my mind. Thank you to everyone whose made this whole XC experience for me a great one. I love you all from the bottom of my heart. Now I'm looking forward to my last season of Track & Field. :D

EXCLUSIVE SHOW SUCCESS!

Today was an amazing day! My band Nightmare's Riot had an "Exclusive" show at our local library called Bonita Library. It was an amazing show!

I was the first one out of the band to get there at 12pm. (Oh yah, and it was Daylight Savings Time.) I (vocals/bass) waited for my band mates to get there in the parking lot of the library. Christian (drums) was the next one to arrive. We went in the library and met the librarian there and she showed us where we were playing. Originally we were gonna play in the Community Room, but since the weather was nice, she decided for us to play outside. There was no stage, like a punk show, which was pretty cool. It was just a patio and it had kind of a nice scenery for an alt. rock band like us. :P

We played an hour set and it was really fun. If your curious, here's our setlist:

1. Intro/Ego Diligo Vos
2. War Of Sorrow
3. The Anchor On Our Boat
4. Home & Away
5. We're Not A Vice, Nor Is This A Virtue
6. I'll Care If You Care
7. Doobie
8. Caraphernelia/Instant Armageddon
9. Zucchini Weeni
10. Kid Pride
11. Look Toward The Life You Lead/Outro

And yes, all of these songs are original songs written by us (except "Caraphernelia", which is by Pierce The Veil).

We wanna thank every single person who came out today to watch and support us. You guys make playing shows and being in a band worth it. And thanks to all of our guest performers and the Bonita Library for letting us play! We love you all!

1ST PLACE!!!

Last week, I lettered varsity on my XC team....

This week, I won the JV race!!! :D YAY!!!

I am so damn happy! During the race, I really didn't think I would win. But at the final stretch, I was able to out-sprint my teammate in front of me. I want to thank my two teammates for pushing me to my potential so that I could win the race. And I wanna thank all my friends who cheered for me and congratulated me after the race. I love you guys! :D

Yesterday was a fun day. Not just because I won (although it was the highlight of the day haha), but just the whole day in general. I had a nice walk with my GF on the shore of Imperial Beach. <3 And our coach bought the whole team ice cream. YUM. :P

Oh yah! I was also able to watch Morning Musume's newest PV "Onna to Otoko no Lullaby Game". It is such an amazing video! I am so happy with it! It's their best PV since "Shouganai Yume Oibito" in my opinion. I know I put it up in my previous blog post. But I'm gonna put it up in this post too, because IT'S JUST THAT GOOD!:

And the tracklist for Morning Musume’s 11th album titled "Fantasy! Juuichi" has been released:

1. Seishun Collection
2. Onna to Otoko no Lullaby Game
3. Bravo!
4. Sungoi My Birthday
5. Otome Gokoro to Nanto Yara
6. Ichi Kara Juu Made Aishite Hoshii
7. Denwa de ne
8. Fantasy ga Hajimaru
9. I’m Lucky girl
10. Itoshiku Kurushii Kono Yoru ni
11. Ai no Honoo

I have also updated my CrunchyRoll with more pictures and info! Please check it out!

And my band Nightmare's Riot is having a show tomorrow at Bonita Library! Thanks to a few of my friends from our school's broadcasting class for the KORtv report of us! Here it is:

Movember

So it's the second to the last month of the year and I feel like 2010 just started. This month is also "No Shave November", "Mustache November", or better known as "Movember". It's the month where guys do not shave in support of prostate cancer awareness. And yes, I am also taking part in this awareness act. The only part of my face that I am shaving are my cheeks cuz it doesn't look good when I try to grow it out. xP So I'm basically growing out a go-tee. Idk if that's how you spell it. I'm pretty sure it's not. xP

I am currently listening to one of my fav bands Escape The Fate, who have released a new album just on Tuesday. I am kinda disappointed. They've really changed. Barely any screams. And when they do have screams, it sounds like they added a filter to it. It's the lead singer forgot how to scream so they had to cover it up with filters. And the lyrics are crap. I'm sorry, but they are. It's like they just threw a bunch of words in to make them sound more "emo" than they really are. It sounds so rushed and the songs are mediocre. Nothing really special. Although I do have to say that their song "The Aftermath (G3)" is a good follow up to their past "Guillotine" songs.

If you look at their cover, you would expect a band playing post-hardcore/screamo music. But when you actually listen to the album, it's more alternative, almost pop. I like alternative and pop rock, but that's not what ETF was their last few albums:

The Japanese Pop All Girl Group Morning Musume has released their newest PV 44th single titled "Onna to Otoko no Lullaby Game". I haven't watched it yet because I've been so busy. PLus, I just found out that it was released today. :P I have seen the preview, and from what I saw, It's an elegant video and I hope it doesn't disappoint me as much as ETF's self-titled album did. So you can watch the PV first and I'll catch up on it soon:

And tomorrow, my high school's XC team is racing Mater Die Catholic High School at Imperial Beach. I am so PSYCHED for this race! The people who usually run varsity aren't racing because they are not needed in this race. Which means some of the Upper JV racers will be filling in their spots and will be running varsity. And yes, I am a Upper JV racer, but I will not be in the varsity race. All the Upper JV racers happen to all be faster than me and I am next on the list, which means I have a very good chance to get 1st place in the JV race! :D I'm excited!

1st Place! All For Her. <3

Commitments

So me and my band Nightmare's Riot are going to play a show today at the Metaphor Cafe in Escondido, CA. Well, we just had a few issues concerning that...

So we had Cross Country practice today early in the morning (at 7 am to be exact). Since Christian (drummer) is only a manager for the team and not actually a runner, he didn't have to go to practice today. Well, me and Tomas (guitarist) are runners, so we had to go to practice. (he's not very fast, but Tomas is still a runner. :P) And it was also raining too, but running in the rain is epic.

So we talked about how we were gonna get to the gig, since Escondido is about an hour or more away from us. Tomas said he would be able to give me a ride, since I don't have a ride there. Christian told us before that his dad was gonna take him to the show.

Then today after practice, freakin Christian calls me and says that his dad was not willing to drive all the way to Escondido in the rain. Plus, Christian's drums were rusting from the rain from the last show we played at. Christian called the people of NDOE Industries (the industry that books us shows at the cafe) to ask them if he could set up his drums inside the cafe, instead of setting up the drums and waiting outside. They never picked up, nor did they call back at the time. And then Tomas said he was gonna be late to the show.

-___-

So then we decided to not play the show and tell NDOE that we would not be able to make it to the show. We were all bummed out, but this was all Christian's fault. I don't wanna get into much detail why because it would be too much to explain. But yes, it was all Christian's fault.

But then a few hours later, the rain clears and the sun comes up. Christian calls me again and tells me that his dad was now willing to drive. And then Tomas said that he will be able to make it on time to the show. So now, Christian is gonna give me a ride to the show and Tomas will hopefully be on time.

This show better be damn fun to play!!!

MR. VARSITY!!!

Haha that's me. :P

I lettered varsity on my high school's cross country team today! WOOT WOOT! xD I'm so HAPPY!!! The varsity time standard is 18:45 for our 5K course and I got 18:44! :D OMG!!!

Well today was a damn good day (well, other than getting my grades today, but let's not talk about that :P). I f*ckin' lettered varsity!!! XD YAY!!! But before that, I had a wonderful day at school with my GF. <<<333 And I walked up to the gas station and hung out with a friend there. And then I went back to school for the race and I kicked ass! I got 10th place out of about 70 JV guys. And we beat Eastlake High School, which is like icing on the cake. Yum. :P

And my mom bought Halloween candy! MUAHAHA!!! Which reminded me that it will be Halloween this Sunday. I haven't been really thinking about it lately and I still don't know what me and my friends are gonna do. Oh well, we'll see what happens.

And tomorrow me and my band Nightmare's Riot is having a show tomorrow in Escondido at Metaphor Cafe again. I am totally pumped up for it! We play from 7-8pm and it's gonna awesome! So if you live near there, please come and support us!

Umm... yah... that's just about it, I guess. Today was legit. xP

What To Blog About This Time...

Hmm... there's probably a million things that I wanna talk about right now. But I can't really fit it all into words, nor do I feel like it right now. xP Well I'm just gonna blog what's been happening with my life lately. I won't get into great detail about each thing, so don't be surprised when you have a lot of questions in mind.

Let's see... well there's school. Umm.. I have a D in Finite Math, which is stupid. My teacher kinda sucks. He can be cool when he wants to, but his grading scale is whack. I've been getting a lot of work in my classes lately. Like it AP Lit (English). So much crap I have to do in that class. It's ridonkulous. xP

What else... oh yah. Our whole senior class is in trouble for supposedly bullying someone in our class. To make a very long story short, the nominees for Homecoming were recently announced and one of them was this person. Apparently, it was meant to be a joke to nominate him, even though he wanted to be BMOC. I know I'm leaving stuff out, but the whole thing is really dumb. The guy is really cool and I don't understand why it would be a joke. People are stupid. The Assistant Principles and the Principles at our school are stupid. They should all get fired and be replaced with people who actually know what they're doing.

And now the whole senior class has to attend a bullying workshop at school. -___- You can't stop bullying. You can try to reduce, but bullying is an unstoppable force. Everyone's a bully. I'm a bully. You're a bully. My friends are bullies. My family members are bullies. No matter who you are, you are a bully. We are all bullies. It's sad, but true...

What else... so tomorrow my XC team has a meet against Eastlake High. And I will letter varsity tomorrow! I'm excited! But I have to stay calm. I just gotta race like I have and I will get that varsity time! Muahaha!

The XC team is one of the only good things about this school. A lot of good things have come out of this program. I met a lot of great people. I've gotten stronger, faster, more determined, and more responsible. I've learned valuable lessons that I will remember and I even found the girl of my dreams. <3 But it sucks that this is my last year on this team. I'm really gonna miss the team. Those guys and girls are like my family. >.< I love you guys!

Well it's getting late. I would talk about many more things, so maybe I'll continue this tomorrow. Tomorrow is gonna be a great race day for me! 18:45 SON!!! :D

Japanese Heroes & Performers

I really wanna go to Japan. Japan is the #1 place I want to go to before I die. You know why? Because there's always something new there. Something new always pops up, whether its TV, music, radio, etc. Why do I bring this up? Well, as you all probably know, I am a big fan of Super Sentai, the Japanese parent of Power Rangers, and Morning Musume, an all girl Japanese Pop group. And both Super Sentai and Morning Musume have brand new things to share to not only to Japan, but to the whole world....

Let's talk about Sentai first.

This year's Sentai team Tensou Sentai Goseiger is teaming up with last year's Samurai Sentai Shinkenger in Tensou Sentai Goseiger VS Shinkenger The Movie:

Japanese magazine scans also show that there will be an evil ShinkenRed. It is unsure if ShinkenRed turned evil or if he is just another evil Ranger, but either way, he looks pretty damn cool and seems to be that he will be pretty bad ass:

Now for Morning Musume.

Tsunku (MM's producer) has announced that Morning Musume will be releasing their 44th single called "Onna to Otoko no Lullaby Game". Their profile picture on the official Hello! Project Website has changed and it is of the members in their outfits for this new single:

Covers for this new single have also surfaced online. They are small, but someone is bound to find larger versions of the covers and will release them onto the internet very soon. To look at these covers, click HERE!

Morning Musume's Generation 6 members, Kamei Eri, Michishige Sayumi, and Tanaka Reina will have one last Photobook together before the graduation of Kamei Eri and 8th Generation members JunJun and LinLin. The photobook will be called "Morning Musume Kamei Eri, Michishige Sayumi, Tanaka Reina PB Kamei Eri Graduation Commemoration Hello Hello! Forever" It is set to be released November 12, 2010.

Also, Morning Musume is part of the cast for the movie Keitai Deka The Movie 3: Morning Musume Kyuushutsu Daisakusen! ~ Pandora no Hako no Himitsu~. As the title suggests Morning Musume will be part of the plot of the movie, which seems to be about a team of three detectives who are in charge of a case where Morning Musume mysteriously disappears from a bus. Hopefully a trailer will appear soon so we can see more of what the movie is about and how MM will be like in the movie. The movie will be in theaters beginning February 5, 2011:

And lastly, a radio preview of Muten Musume's (Morning Musume's food-promoting counterpart) coupling single "Kura Sushi Bikkurapon!" has been released. This will be the coupling single to their first single "Appare Ksiten Zushi!", which is set to be released on October 27, 2010. Here is the radio preview of the c/w track:

And that was new stuff from my favorite Japanese Heroes & Performers. :D
