Back From Power Morphicon 2!

Power Morphicon 2 was a great success! :D

So I just came back home from staying in Pasedena over the weekend. We left Saturday morning and stayed at a hotel for the night. I don't wanna give EVERYTHING away just yet, because I will be having some videos of PMC 2 up on YouTube hopefully soon.

Since I had Cross Country practice early on Saturday morning (at 7 am to be exact), we left a little later than I wanted to and I got to the convention at about 12:30. It's a 2 hour long drive and we kept stopping at rest areas (thanks dad -___-). I missed the first panel that I wanted to go to, which was the Mighty Morphin/Zeo Panel. I got there in time to see the second half of the second panel I wanted to see, which was the Lost Galaxy/Lightspeed Rescue/Wild Force Panel, but after checking in and entering the convention center, I was OVERWHELMED! I went downstairs where all the action was happening and there were vendors everywhere! And there were tables to meet the Rangers, writers, producers, and other guests and they were all there! I completely ignored going to the second panel and looked at everything googley-eyed.

There was so much stuff and so many fans and so many guests that I didn't know where to start off first. But after looking around (and staring at the Rangers in amazement :P) I went to the Pretty & Powerful Panel. After that, I looked around some more, got some autographs, got some stuff signed, took pictures with some of the guests, went to more panels, and took video. I wanted to buy some stuff from some of the vendors (other than paying for autographs and pictures), but I decided that I would wait until today so that I wouldn't have to carry it around or if prices would go down.

Today was just as great as yesterday, maybe even better, because I was able to go to more panels, get more autographs and pictures with more Rangers, and buy stuff. I will be doing videos of some of the stuff I got. They will all be mentioned in my PMC 2 videos, but I will have separate picture videos for some of them (like my Power Rangers Zeo Deluxe Red Battlezord that was released in 1996. :D). I also stayed for the Closing Ceremony, which was a great way to end this great convention.

I hope everyone who went to the convention had a great time, because I know I did! And if you didn't go, sorry. It was great and we wish you came. And regardless if you did or didn't go, please stay tuned to watch my new videos of PMC 2!

And the next Power Morphicon will take place in the year 2012! :D See you there!

Meaning Something To Somebody Else

It's been over a week since I've posted a blog. And it's been almost 3 weeks since I've posted a video up on my YouTube Channel. Again, I'm sorry. I just haven't had the time lately.

But now I have made time, because today was the first official day of Power Morphicon 2010. I did not attend today, but I will be attending tomorrow and Sunday. I hope everyone had a great time at the convention today! And I can't wait to go tomorrow. :D I already packed up my stuff that I wanna get signed by some of the Rangers that are gonna be there. I wish I went today, but I couldn't go because of school.

Speaking of school, this week has been tiring and busy. I'm trying to balance out everything right: school, friends, cross country, band, girlfriend <3, etc. Life is taking it's toll on me. But everything is working out alright so far. Everything's not PERFECT right now, but I'm happy and enjoying life as best as I can. If everything was perfect, then life would be boring, wouldn't it? xP

So yah, that's really all I can say for now. I'm gonna have a new video(s) of my Power Morphicon 2 experience sometime when I get back from Pasedena. :D

New Musume Stuff

So an LQ preview of Morning Musume's 44th single has been released. The title of the single is "Appare! Kaitenzushi" which translates to "Splendid! Conveyor Belt Sushi" in English. The title hasn't been confirmed yet, but this is most likely the title of the song.

It's a catchy song and it has a pretty fast beat. It's a fun song and hoprefully it will be proven worthy to be #1 on the Oricon Charts. From what I can hear, I think all the members have solo lines, which is a VERY GOOD thing. I'm not totally sure about it, but I hope it's true. It sounds like a good last single for Kamei Eri, Junjun, and Linlin.

Hopefully we get a radio preview of the song soon. The expected release date is October 13.

Here's a LQ preview of the song:

And also, producer of MM, Tsunku, has revealed that H!P Eggs that meet the qualifications (being 10-17 years old) will be allowed to audition to be part of MM's 9th generation, only upon request. H!P Eggs that decide to audition will pass immediately to the first stage of the audition, which means that they won’t need to be screened initially.

I was surprised to find out about this, but I think it's a good idea for H!P Eggs to audition, instead of having Tsunku automatically put them in MM without an audition. I kinda don't want any Eggs in MM, but if any of them who choose to audition pass, then I guess they are worthy to be in this amazing group.

I would still like to see other girls make it into MM. I really don't want any 12 year olds in the group though. I think that's too young. They should at least be 14 or 15, in my opinion.

I hope that Morning Musume's 44th single will end off a great era in a great way. :D

UPDATE @ 8:50 PM: The release date for Morning Musume's 44th single has been pushed back to November 17!

Beauty Through Broken Glass

I love her so much. <3

So I finally told my parents that I now have a girlfriend. And I was very surprised at their reaction....

I was very nervous about telling my parents about having a girlfriend. They, mainly my dad, have told me that he doesn't want me nor my bro to have girlfriends until we were like 21. He said it would affect out education in a bad way. -___- But I told them anyway and their reactions were as follows:

Dad: "Okay. That's cool."
Mom: "I had a feeling."

O.o

WTF just happened?

They actually approved of it. And this just happened about an hour ago. I was surprised but happy to their reactions. We talked about it for a while and they asked me a few questions about her, to get an idea of what kind of girl I'm going out with.

Well, I'm glad I told my parents. And I'm happy. :D

BTW listen to this song. It's epic:

Love You Baby <3

143

Today was officially the best Friday the 13th ever. :D

So this whole week I have been complaining that I was confused. And I HATE being confused! The main reason why I was confused was because of, well, that girl that I keep talking about.

So lets see, on Wednesday of this week, my brother was supposed to find out if the girl wanted me to ask her out. But, he didn't. But, it's because it was kinda my fault. As I've mentioned before, I do not have a sixth period class, so I could leave school earlier than other students. BUT I couldn't leave because I was going to go with my friend, Alex, to hang out at the mall with another friend, Ronald. BUT he had to stay at school for a bit longer to make up some work, so I ended up hanging out with her, which is why my brother couldn't ask her if she wants me to ask her out. Oops.

The day after that failure, Thursday, which was yesterday, things got interesting. We hung out under a tree in a grass area near the library during lunch. But this time she laid her head on my chest as we laid down on the grass, leaning my head again the tree, and I had my arms around her. When lunch was over, we held hands to class. Now that shit was fun...

But I still had to ask her out...

So the very first thing the next day, which was today, I asked her out. She smiled and said, "Yes." We hung out at our spot again today and it was so peaceful. I wish moments like those would last forever.

And I went in for the kill, which means, I kissed her. And now I gots me a girlfriend. <3

More Confusion

Here's my newest video. It concerns the graduation of Kamei Eri, Junjun, and Linlin from Morning Musume:

I'm still confused about the fact that we won the Poway Battle of the Bands thing last weekend. And I'm still shocked that Kamei Eri, Junjun, and Linlin are graduation MM.

But now I'm even more confused about other things....

On August 4th, I posted up a blog post about this girl I like. My confusion revolves around her.

Okay. So during lunch today at school, we talked as usual. Nothing new. She then left to go talk to her other friends for a bit. Another one of her friends then went up to me and said something along the lines of, "She's sad so go do it now" and she gave me a weird look. I thought to myself, "Do what now???" I was thinking that she was talking about asking her out.

BUT the thing is... I did that already. I asked her out about 6 months ago and she basically said she would if she could, but she can't. She's not allowed to go out. And now I'm extremely confused.

So I walked with the girl I like and we just talked. Again, nothing new. We then sat down in a field of grass under a tree and we just talked. Nothing special. We just talked.

Was I supposed to ask her out? But if I did, and she said the same thing as last time, I would feel extremely stupid. But she likes me. And I like her. But I'm not sure if she wants to go out. But according to her friends, she wants me to ask her out. But what if they don't know that I tried asking her out before?

WTF?!?!?!?!?!

Well, now my brother knows, so he's gonna try to find out the truth for me. I don't know if that's a good idea, but I really don't know what else to do. I'm stuck.

And confused.

Confusion

I don't know how to feel right now.

I'm happy and sad at the same time. I wanna scream in happiness, but I wanna cry in sadness too. Let me start off with the good news.

I know I made a deal with you that I would post up another blog yesterday if my band made it into the top 3 bands. And I broke that deal, because we ended up getting first place! :D I would've put up a blog, but we got home late and I was super tired. I'm still confused too. It doesn't seem real that we won....

So we were the first band to arrive at the library. We got there like at 11:45, even though we were supposed to be there at 1:30. :P So we hung out around there and we found out that we were going to be the 4th band playing out of 6, which is REALLY GOOD. As long as we weren't first, we we're happy. Being the opening act sucks!

So when the 2nd and 3rd bands played, we were getting pumped up to play. We did our ritual jog and high fived each other, telling each other to go all-out crazy but not breaking anything in the process. When the 3rd band went off stage, we set up our equipment and the person in charge introduced us by reading the bio I sent in (even though a lot of the things in the bio that she read was not what I wrote).

We were the ONLY band who actually moved around and jumped and went crazy on stage. We showed really good stage presence and crowd interaction compared to the other 5 bands. And it helped out a lot because we got 1st place! :D We won a trophy, $200, another gig, and 7 hours of recording time PROFESSIONALLY at TrackStar Studios! :D I'm so proud of my band mates because they really pulled through. And I wanna thank everyone who came out to support us (you know who you are)! Photos of the gig will be on our MySpace.

And then today happened....

Well, first off, I woke up with a sore neck, which I still have, but that's a good thing because that means I did a lot of head banging yesterday. But that's not important.

It was announced that today, three members of Morning Musume will be graduating this fall. Those members are Kamei Eri, JunJun, and LinLin.

I could not believe this when I found this out. Kamei Eri has been suffering from a skin condition called atopic dermatitis ever since she has joined Morning Musume. With all of the make up and costume changes that the members go through, it's hard for her to recover from it. So she is deciding to leave the group and Tsunku has announced her graduation. And it's sad, because Kamei Eri is one of my favorite members of MM. :( I wish her the best and I hope she recovers quickly.

There is a different reason why Tsunku is graduating JunJun and LinLin. As you all might know, JunJun and LinLin are the only two Chinese members of the group. Tsunku states that they have grown as both singers and Japanese speakers and are now women who are capable of standing on their own two feet. They will be graduating and returning to China to continue their entertainment careers there. I also wish them the best of luck.

But with these graduations, there will come new members. Tsunku announced that there will FINALLY be a 9th generation group of Morning Musume. He states that he is looking for one 10-17 year old girl, but he is known to add more than one new member in a generation for MM. There has not been auditions to join the group since 2006, when Mitsui Aika joined, nor has there been new members since 2007, when the two Chinese members joined.

For more info about the graduations and upcoming members of MM, click HERE.

I am happy that MM will finally have new members, but I am also sad that 3 members are leaving the group. And I am so shocked that we won the Battle of the Bands competition yesterday. A lot of things are going through my head right now. So many things are happening at the same time. It's hard to keep track of everything....

Poway Show Today!

So today's the big day for my band - Nightmare's Riot!

We are playing at Poway Library today! I'm so pumped up right now, I woke up early and I'm even posting this blog up early too!

So it's a Battle of the Bands Competition. There are 6 bands playing at Poway Library (one of them is us) and there are 6 more bands playing at Vista Library. The top 3 bands from each venue will be able to compete in the actual Battle of the Bands, in which bands will play to win money and professional studio recording time.

Here's a video update that me and Christian (drummer) recorded yesterday:

So today, all we gotta do is make it to at least 3rd place. I am really confident that we can do that and make it to that top 6 out of 12 bands.

I'm so pumped up and so nervous right now! We haven't played a show since January! It's been a long time. But I still think we can make it to that top 6. We have the experience and we've gained the stage presence. Even though each band is only playing a 10 minute set, we can still totally BEAST this sh*t. :P

OKay I'll make you a deal: We are going to find out who will be the top 3 bands for the Poway gig today after all the bands play. If we make it to that top 6, I will post up another blog post today. I have never ever posted up more than 1 blog in the same day (look at all the dates for each of my blog posts and you'll see what I mean). So this can be the first time. BUT, if we do not make it to the top 6, I will wait until tomorrow to post a disappointment blog up.

Now I hope I post another blog post today. xD

So please, come and support us! It's from 2:30 - 4 pm. Again, each band plays a 10 minute set. We find out what time we play when we get there. The order of in which bands will play will be determined at random.

Power Rangers Fans Love Saban Brands & Marvista Entertainment

Saban Brands has teamed up with Marvista Entertainment, which means if you live outside of the United States, Marvista is in charge of getting the Power Rangers show to you're country.

It was also announced that Power Rangers reruns will begin airing in October 2010 on Nicktoons, Monday through Friday, twice a day. And the new Power Rangers season (the Americanized Samurai Sentai Shinkenger) will begin airing in early 2011 on Nickelodeon on Saturdays and Sundays.

Saban Brands and Marvista Entertainment have released a video, which tells a bit about the history of the Power Rangers franchise and what is yet to come:

When I watched this video, I was like, "OMG" in a good way, of course. I cannot wait for the new season! I can finally watch it on TV again instead of looking up the episodes on YouTube! :D (Not that I don't like YouTube; I love YouTube; but I miss the good ol' days when I watched PR on TV.) And I will be watching the re-runs of Power Rangers, in case you were wondering.

And I never mentioned this, but I am disappointed that I didn't go to Comic-Con this year. :( I would've gone, but the tickets were sold out. And I was VERY disappointed when I found out that these guys were there:

Oh well, at least I'm going to PMC this year! :D I can't wait!

I uploaded another video yesterday too. It features my new Seijuu Sentai Gingaman (Japanese counterpart of "Power Rangers Lost Galaxy") mini vinal figures. To watch it, click HERE!!!

The Music Note Around Her Neck

So it's been almost 6 months since I've had this blog and this is my 100th blog post. I don't know if that's not enough or too many blog posts, but I like the pace I'm going at with this blog.

And this post is going to be the most important one yet...

I was going to post this up late last night, but I wasn't able to finish it; this also ties into what I wanna type right now.

To be honest, I have talked about this before in a previous blog, I think in June. I didn't explain much about it and I probably bored everyone who reads my posts. But this is extremely important to me. Trust me, I wouldn't be posting this blog if I weren't serious about this.

So for the past year (a little less than that) I have known this girl. This really great girl. And I've been talking to her ALL THE TIME. There was a long time when I didn't think she cared for me. There we're even times when I thought she was annoyed by me...

And in that long time, I was kinda depressed. I know it didn't seem like that in a lot of my previous blog posts, but I was sad and confused and I felt like sh*t. But I still hung out with her, but at the same time, I kept my distance.

Then break came around and I didn't see her for 2-3 weeks. That's when I felt like killing myself (not literally; I would never do that). I worried about if she completely forgot about me. Even when my friends told me that they we're sure that she liked me, I wouldn't believe them. Even after my fun birthday, I still couldn't get her out of my head. She was (and still is) constantly on my mind and I there was a time when I wanted to stop liking her. I couldn't and I still can't.

It wasn't until Cross Country Camp where I found out the truth for myself. And the results I got, we're good. :D

This is when we started hanging out ALL THE TIME! We couldn't get away from each other and I was not complaining. xP It's basically the main reason why this year's camp was MUCH BETTER than last year's.

So since camp, we've been talking basically everyday (she gave me her e-mail :P). And there has been a few incidences where other guys have told me that they we're jealous of me (or implied it). JEALOUS OF ME?! HAHAHA! I would have never thought anyone would ever be jealous of me ever! And yah, she's really cute, so a bunch of guys liked her (and probably still do).

And it's obvious to not only her and I, but to everybody we know, that we like each other.

Yesterday was her birthday. So I thought I would give her something. I didn't want to give her something to extravagant, but not to cheap either; just something generic, but nice at the same time. And she loves music like I do and I notice that she wears different necklaces. So I got her a necklace that has a pendant shaped like a music note. She liked it a lot.

And no, we're not going out. She's not my girlfriend or anything (she's not allowed to go out). But I like her a lot and she likes me. I really am falling in love with her.

Rangers In Shining Armor

I really gotta catch up in watching Goseiger. -____-

I just found new pictures of the Goseiger's new armored forms. They look absolutely stunning! I love the gold! I have only watched up until episode 5 or 6 and now they are on episode 24. I'm missing out on a lot....

For more information and pictures, check out this BLOG. It's one of the blogs I follow and it has lots of great Sentai pics.

Anyway, earlier today, I changed the look on my YouTube Channel. After having a "Seishun Collection" themed channel (light blue and light green), I decided to make it purple and black. Why? Well, these two colors happen to have great significance in my life right now. I will share my reasons in another blog post.

I also uploaded my 400th video on YouTube! It's my newest YouTube Icon. I thought it was about time for a new one, after having that GoseiRed Icon for about 3 months. Check it out:

And yah, I think that's all for now. There's so much I wanna say (or type, in this case :P), but I think I'll wait a few more days to let the cat out of the bag.

Or actually, it will be in 2 days to be exact....
