2010 Bandai Toy Fair: MMPR Report

I know according to my VIDEOS IN THE WORKS list I was going to do two other seperate videos, one having the Goseiger Opening Theme and the other one having the Goseiger Closing Theme, but I decided to use both of those songs in this 10 minute video because I got lazy. :P And yes, I believe this is my longest video to date. O_O

Morning Musume Nine Smile Concert Tour (Koharu Kusumi's Graduation)

Earlier today, I finally watched Morning Musume's Nine Smile Concert Tour DVD, which was the graduation of Generation 7's only member, Koharu Kusumi.

I'm not gonna lie; I cried during the Graduation Speeches (and I always do). I miss Koharu, but I wish all the best of luck to her. I will definately continue to support her and Morning Musume.

I love this DVD! Of course I don't own it, but I did watch it on YouTube. I am also waiting for a subbed version so I can understand what the members are saying during the MCs.

The performances were amazing and I can't wait for their new album coming next month!

Goseiger Epic 1

I have finally watched the English subbed version of the first episode of Tensou Sentai Goseiger!

First off, the episodes are now called "Epics". I find this very interesting. I hope that this season turns out to be epic!

I like the main story of this Sentai. Apparently for a long time now, Gosei Angels from Gosei World (which I believe is like Heaven) have been protecting Earth from evil. A weird looking monster destroys the Tower of Heaven, which is the only way to contact with Angels from Gosei World. Five "Gosei Angels in training" are now trapped on Earth and are now the Earth's only hope in defeating a new branch of evil.

I love the designs on the Goseiger's suits, especially on their helmets. The evil monsters are funny-looking, but I will probably get used to seeing them in every epic.

Overall, I enjoyed the first episode of Goseiger, although I would like to get some more background information on the team members and possible allies they might have.

Another Productive Band Practice

So here's how my day went.

The first half of my day was horrible. :( I went to the first official practice of my High School's Track and Field practice. Yes, I am on the track team, but I cannot run because of a stress fracture in my left foot. For those of you who do not what a stress fracture is, it's basically a small crack in the bone. It usually takes 6-8 weeks to heal, but mine isn't as bad, so hopefully I will be fine soon. I can still walk, but it sucks to just sit there at track practice while everyone else is running and having fun.

The second half of my day cheered me up. The band and I had band practice at the drummer's house, and we recorded three new demo songs! I won't tell you the names of the songs yet (hint: all three song titles are listed in the previous blog), but they will be released soon and you will all know what songs they are!

I can't wait for everyone to hear them! They will be posted on MySpace and YouTube soon and I hope you all enjoy them!

After a not long enough 4 day weekend, I am now back at school not ready to learn. :P And with nothing else to blog about, I have released BRAND NEW song titles from original songs by the band that I am in, Nightmare's Riot.

Shinkenger Closing Act

I just wathced the final episode of Shinkenger! I waited until there was an English subbed version, and after waiting for what seemed to be too long of a wait, I am happy to say that Shinkenger was an epic Sentai season!

I remember watching the first episode and falling in love with the story to Shinkenger. Four vassals are summoned by the supposedly 18th Head of the Shiba Clan to fight the evil Gedoushuu of the Sanzu River. It was something new, and from then on, I looked forward to watching all of the episodes (with subtitles of course :P).

So then later on in the season, there was an episode where there was a Gedou that would insult the Shinkenger and they would go flying into a building. But this didn't affect Kotoha (ShinkenYellow) because she was used to insults. When the Gedou attacked Takeru, it called him a "Liar". Now of course, I would watch these episodes on YouTube and I remember reading a comment from someone saying something like "Maybe Takeru is lying about being the lord of the Shiba Clan." Of course, I didn't believe that. I thought he lied about not wanting to work with others or something of that nature.

So then the last few episodes came and it turns out that Takeru is not the real lord of the Shiba Clan, but a simple Kagemusha (Shadow Warrior) of the real head of the Shiba Clan, Kaoru, who is a female. To be honest, I was SHOCKED! I would have never thought that this would happen. It was a real plot twist and it was executed really well! But one thing that would be really cool is if both ShinkenReds were shown together and fought side by side. Now that would have been SUPER EPIC!

So the princess Kaoru uses the Sealing Character on the leader of the Gedoushuu, Dokoku, but fails, and she is weakened. So she adopts Takeru, even though he is older than her (I know, weird, right?) and he fights with his team once again to destroy Dokoku once and for all.

Samurai Sentai Shinkenger = EPIC WIN!

Goseiger Debut

Happy Valentine's Day! Even though I am sick today, I still hope everyone is enjoying their day today!

So I just saw a few clips from the first Tensou Sentai Goseiger episode, and I got to say, I like it so far! I haven't seen the full episode yet becuase I'm still waiting for the subbed version. But I'm liking what I see so far. This is not my video, but here is a clip from the first episode of the newest Sentai team:
