Morning Musume: New Stuff For 2010

The J-Pop All girl group, Morning Musume is a very successful group. And they are a very busy and hardworking group as well...

Throughout this year, MM have released 2 singles, their 10th album, a live DVD, an "Alo-Hello!" DVD, and have gone through many concerts and touring. They even performed in Paris, France at Japan Expo. It was also announced that three of the members (Kamei Eri, Junjun, and Linlin) will be graduating from the group in December and that there will be auditions for new MM members.

In August, it was announced that MM will be releasing their 44th single in October. In early September, a song called "Appare Kaiten Zushi!" was played in a sushi store in Japan. People recognized that the song was sung by Morning Musume. People then thought that this was their new single. It turned out that this song is actually the 1st single for a new group called "Muten Musume", which is Morning Musume's new counterpart group. This new unit was created to promote food. A radio preview of the song was finally released a few days after:

"Appare Kaiten Zushi!" is set to be released on October 27, while the release date for Morning Musume's 44th single was pushed back to November 17. Tsunku (MM Producer) said that the idea of Muten Musume came to mind in the beginning of the year.

Then during their "Rival Survival" Tour, MM performed a new song called "Aisaresugiru Koto wa nai no yo". Nobody knew for sure that this song would be the new single because MM announced as a "new song". Usually, if they perform a new single, they would announce it as a "new single". People then thought to believe that it could be the B-Side to the new single or just another random new song:

Then on September 28, Morning Musume's 44th single was announced to be a song called "Onna to Otoko no Lullaby Game". It is still unknown on how it sounds like. The next day, the tracklist for the new single was released:

1. Onna to Otoko no Lullaby Game
2. Aisaresugiru Koto wa nai no yo
3. Onna to Otoko no Lullaby Game (Instrumental)

This is when we find out that "Aisaresugiru Koto wa nai no yo" is indeed the B-Side to the new single.

Later on that same day, it was announced that Morning Musume's 11th album, which is currently untitled, is set to be released on December 1, which is about two weeks before the graduation of Kamei Eri, Junjun, and Linlin. This is very shocking news to fans. Usually, artists in general won't release two full-length albums in the same year. This is the first time that Morning Musume will do this.

Hopefully we find out more about this new album and a radio preview of the new single.

And So The Two Week Break Begins

So today is the first "official" day of our two week break from school. It's nice to finally get a break from all the crazy sh*t that school throws at us. But today, we had to wake up early for cross country practice. And we have to do that a few more times during the break.

Today's workout was HELL. It's like Summer started late this year. It's freakin' HOT! Right now, I'm home alone, blasting the fans (and my music haha), and eating tons of ice cream. :P Anyway, the workout was hard today (Mondays are always hard). But we got to use the hose and soak ourselves. It was fun. :)

But now I feel like doing absolutely nothing. Plus, I have homework for some of my classes that I have to do over the break. -___-

NOTE TO TEACHERS: They call it BREAK for a reason!!! >:(

Which also reminds me, I have lots of other stuff I have to take care of. Like my Power Rangers/Super Sentai Collection that I still have to fix. Here's a new video concerning that:

I also uploaded a video yesterday about the new season of Power Rangers: Power Rangers Samurai. Check out the video:

I've been getting some progress. I've been working on my Power Morphicon Compilation videos, which I wanted to do for a long time. I've also been working on some other videos. The one thing that I'm worried about is getting my collection fixed. I need one FULL DAY to myself, in my room, and just fix my whole collection. I'll find a way...

And me and my band, Nightmare's Riot, are playing a show at a local library (yes, another library) on Sunday November 7 at 2:00 pm for about an hour. So I've been trying to get us to have band practice, but our drummer is apparently "busy" and can't have practice. Hmm... idk. I've been also working on lots of lyrics for new songs that we want to play at the gig. I also need to memorize them...

After typing all of that up, I realize that this is no break... xP

Have a nice day. Stay cool.

Power Rangers Samurai

It was my dad's birthday 2 days ago! He's in Chicago right now and he'll be back at midnight! Happy Birthday Dad! :D

In the world of Power Rangers, the title of the new season has been announced on the official Power Rangers Website. The new season will be called Power Rangers Samurai.

Now, I know that this new season of Power Rangers is based off it's Japanese Super Sentai Counterpart, Samurai Sentai Shinkenger and that the season will be samurai-based. But it's such an obvious and somewhat plain title for it. I would at least think they would name it "Power Rangers Samurai Strike" or "Samurai Sword" or "Samurai Slash" or Samurai something. But Saban decided that it would be just called "Samurai". I thought it was an interesting choice, yet ordinary. But it has grown on me already and I think it is a more than appropriate title for this new season that I am so excited to watch! :D

If you go to the Power Rangers website (which is brand new and totally awesome :D), there is also a short story about the season and short descriptions of each of the five Rangers. (Gold is not online yet.) The story mentions ancient Samurai Symbols of Power that each Ranger has to master. It also mentions that the evil forces are from the Netherworld, which I think is pretty cool. If you read the Ranger descriptions, you will find out that the characters name have changed from the original casting sheets.

Reading the descriptions and the story has gotten me excited about the new season. I am also excited to buy the new toys that will hopefully come out later on this year. Hopefully we get some new information soon. I'm ready to watch this new season.

And in the world of music, one of my favorite bands My Chemical Romance is releasing a new album! :D IT'S ABOUT FREAKING TIME!!! The last time they had an album was in 2005 and it was "The Black Parade". The Black Parade is my favorite album from them, but hopefully this new album will rise to the occasion and my new fav MCR album. There new single called "Na Na Na" is now streaming on YouTube! It's awesome. >.< Check it out now:

Yourself Presents

Yesterday, my band Nightmare's Riot filmed for a TV show called YOURSELF PRESENTS. It was a good experience for us, considering it will be the first first time that we will be on national TV. Although it's a low budget show, it still gets 10,000 viewers, which is still really good.

So about a year ago, my dad called this TV show and the guy in charge of the show, Howard Anshell, said that the waiting list to get filmed for the show takes about 8-9 months. After that, I completely forgot about it. Then on the day of recording at TrackStar Studios, we get a call back from him, saying that we can finally film for the show on the 18th (yesterday). So yesterday came around and we got there at about 9 am. We met the crew there (which was only about 6 people and some of them were late -___-) and we set up our equipment.

You know, for a TV show that gets 10,000 viewers that is all about playing music, you would think that they would have enough microphone stands and a PA system provided for the bands and musicians that play there, even if it is a low budget show. But all they had were a few mics and chords. We had to bring our own stands and we even had to borrow a PA system for another friend, who is in another band. The guy in charge there was even complaining that we didn't bring enough mic stands for the drums. We don't have that kind of equipment. But they should. For goodness sakes, a freakin library has a PA system and mics and mic stands, but a TV show that has indie artists play original music doesn't? -____- FAIL.

Howard, the dude in charge, was also kinda in a bad mood that morning. He was kinda being a douche bag. But the rest of the crew was pretty cool and he lightened up as soon as the other LATE crew members showed up.

And it kinda seemed like a few of them didn't know what they were doing. Apparently this show has been on like 20 or 30 years, but even the guy in charge seemed like an amateur at what he was doing. Our guitarist's dad (who was also there to help out with our sound) seemed to know more than the directors and producers of the show. And we were also in charge of our sound. So if we didn't bring the right and enough equipment, it would have been all on us. And like recording at TrackStar Studios, the of the time was just waiting around. But at least the producer at TrackStar actually knew what he was doing.

And we wanted to give a high energy performance, like what we do at live shows. But we couldn't. We had to stand there and play. When I say this show is low budget, I mean it's LOW BUDGET.

Okay, now the good stuff about the show. :P Well, we got to play more songs than we thought we would. We were ahead of schedule. We played 6 songs and 4 of them are on our EP (which will be distributed soon hopefully). The camera crew was nice. They gave us directions and helped us out. Even our guitarist's dad got to use a camera, which was pretty cool. And in a few weeks, we're gonna get a DVD of the raw footage that they took us playing the 6 songs and we'll be able to put it up on YouTube.

Oh yah, and did I mention that we'll be on the TV Show in about 8-9 months? -___- Yah, we have to wait that long until we and 10,000 other viewers actually see us on TV. That's why they're gonna give us a DVD of the raw footage so that we can put it up on YouTube and show other people what they will basically see in 8-9 months (just without cheesy special effects that look like something from the 60s).

Other than that, we're just lucky to get a chance to film for a TV show with that many viewers. Not many other bands like us can say that. Thanks to YOURSELF PRESENTS for letting us be on your show.

Second Strike

Holy crap, I'm freaked out now! I got another message from YouTube about the videos that have copyright that doesn't belong to me! If I get another strike, my channel is DOOMED. 0.0

I had to delete the 5 remaining videos that had copyright info that didn't belong to me. So now I went from 400 and something videos to 374 video. -_____- Oh well, it's still a lot of videos. But now I have to be REALLY careful of what I upload, cuz if I upload something that's not mine, my channel will be gone.

And the latest video I've uploaded is this:

I know I haven't been updating things regularly like I used to and I have a lot of videos that I've been wanting to work on for a while:

1. Power Rangers ANGRY PEACE OPV
2. My Power Rangers/Super Sentai Collection 24
3. MMPR 2010 Armored Red Ranger Figure
4. GoseiRed Keychain & Kamen Rider Double
5. MMPR 2010 Blue Ranger Figure
6. Power Morphicon 2010 Compilation
7. Collection Arrangement
8. Deluxe Zeo Red Battlezord (1996)
9. Gekiranger GekiChopper Vinyl Figure
10. MMPR Talking Red Ranger (German)

I might combine some of these videos into one video just to save space on my computer, just in case if my YouTube account does get deleted, I'll have some videos that I can re-upload on my possible new channel. (I really hope it doesn't come down to that...)

Anyway, I know there's been a lot of new news that has surfaced, like Morning Musume's new single as Muten Musume and their 44th single. And there's also new stuff concerning the new Power Rangers season and Goseiger (which I haven't watch in a LONG TIME). Hell, there's probably a bunch of stuff that I don't even know about that has come up in the MM and PR/SS worlds. I've been really busy lately and I haven't even been able to keep track of all of my other accounts like CrunchyRoll and my band's online accounts. I'm lucky to even type this blog post up.

So sorry for all of this and I'm gonna try to catch up during our two week break of school which will start the week after next week.

Oh yah! And today is Christian's (drummer for my band NIghtmare's Riot) 17th birthday! :D Happy birthday! And my brother's 16th birthday happens to be tomorrow!

Epic EP

Yesterday was tiring, but it was totally worth it. :D

So my band Nightmare's Riot recorded 4 new songs at TrackStar Studios yesterday! We got there at 11am to set up. When we got there, we were surprised to see that it was a house. 0.o But the studio inside was awesome! We met the producer once again named Sven, (pronounced "swen") who was one of the judges at the Poway show. He showed us all the different rooms: the recording room, the mixing room, the room for the guitar amp, etc. He also showed us all the awards that he's won over the past years that he's been recording and producing for local bands. O.O

At about 12pm we started recording. The recording equipment he has is great! Very professional. I really want his mics. :P We recorded 4 songs and he gave us really good suggestions and ideas. He made us better than we really are. :P We took multiple takes for each song and it was very tiring but worth it in the end. We recorded multiple guitar tracks so that the songs would feel heavier and have multiple dimensions so that the songs would sound more powerful. He also fix missed beats while mixing and he even did stuff to my voice to make me sound a little bit more decent. :P

At about 6pm, he started do final mixings and remastering for each song. He then burned them on CDs for each of us and we listened to the final works. We are very pleased with what we (mostly he) did. The songs sound great and I thank Sven for that. :D After that, we went to eat at In & Out. We were starving!

So now we are going to burn more discs and create album art for this new EP that we are going to release for FREE soon! Hopefully people will enjoy the 4 new original songs that are on our new EP. The songs will also be on MySpace and available free for download on PureVolume. Oh yah, and we do have a name for the EP, but we're not going to release it yet. But it will be released very soon.

Photos of us recording are on our MySpace. Video of us recording will be on YouTube soon.

Heading To The Recording Studio

So after winning the Battle of the Bands in Poway a few weeks ago, my band Nightmare's Riot won 7 hours of recording at TrakStar Studios in La Mesa, CA (about 30 minutes from where we live) and the time to professionally record is tomorrow!

From 11am - 6pm, we will be recording in an actual recording studio, instead of our going through our usual "set up our crappy recording equipment in a garage and record crap quality songs and release them on iTunes for a high price so that no one will buy it" routine.

The plan this time is to record about 4-5 songs professionally (the producer said to choose 4 songs, but we have 5 songs ready just in case we have more time) and take our time with each song (with the help of the producer of course). And after the final mixing, we will get those songs and makes copies of them on CDs and release an EP for FREE! We will just be handing them out to whoever wants one.

Who knows... maybe we'll get more exposure this time...

Well, I'm excited to finally step foot into a professional recording studio and record good quality stuff. We plan on recording brand new material that we've been practicing a lot for the past few days. If we do record 5 songs, the 5th song will be a surprise. If not, then oh well. We've recorded it already....

*wink wink* *nudge nudge* :P

What To Do About Something

I'm sad. :(

First off, after cross country practice, my girlfriend's ride left her, so she had to walk after her car. It was sad seeing her walk after her ride and I felt bad. I think her mom doesn't like me or something. I'm actually kinda scared of her. 0.o

Second, my friend who graduated high school already is moving to Virginia with the rest of his family, which is all the way on the other side of the country from where I live! D: NO!!! It's so sudden and too soon! And he's leaving next Friday! Him, a few other friends, and I are gonna hang out after school. We're gonna do whatever he wants to do. I hope he comes back to at least visit us. He says he's gonna try to come back, rent an apartment, and live here. He doesn't wanna leave and we don't want him to leave! We're gonna miss him!

Third, if you haven't noticed on my YouTube Channel, I had to delete some of videos. D: I got an e-mail from YouTube saying that I had too many videos with copyright info and that I had to delete some of them in order to keep my account. If I kept uploading videos with copyright that I do not own, my account would be deleted, along with the rest of my videos. So I had to delete quite a few videos. I had 402 videos, and now I'm down to 378 videos. So if my calculations are correct, I deleted 24 of my uploaded videos. All of the videos I deleted had copyright info that I did not own (such as music or video). I don;t remember which ones I deleted (I should've written them down somewhere before I deleted them from YouTube), but there were some new and old videos that were deleted. I still have 5 videos that have copyright info. These videos are videos that I MUST keep online.

So as a warning, if my YouTube account gets deleted, you know why....

And fourth, I still have homework to do. Good night.
